10 Vintage Things Worth The VINTAGE Splurge

I was just visiting the blog Dividing Vintage Moments, and saw this wonderful list of "10 Vintage Things Worth The VINTAGE Splurge". Here are my top 10:
1. A large fox fur (vintage)
Isn't he too cute?

2. A 1940's rayon dress
One of my first vintage items: a 1940's floral print rayon day dress
 3. A wool skirt suit
A beautiful cocoa mohair skirt suit that I scored for a mere $24!
I just love the detail in the back :)
This one is on my wishlist:
*le sigh* maybe a birthday giftie?
It just oozes glamour, doesn't it?

4. A pair of 1940's platforms (which are oh so difficult to find in my size!)
A gorgeous pair of chocolate croc pumps!

5. A gingham dress
I can't wait until the weather is warmer to wear it!
I just LOVE the crochet details and the little bow!

6.  A Bakelite touch
How fun is this banana necklace? Definitely wishlist material!
 7. A 1950's wool dress
This is my dream dress, I am so sad that I missed out on it! If anyone sees anything like it, please let me know!
 8. A wiggle dress

I missed out on this baby, too. Oh the tragedy!
 9. A glamorous bathing suit
Ann Baxter in a very glamorous bathing suit

 10. And a very feminine piece just for fun!

There is also a giveaway on her page, so be sure to stop by and leave a comment!

  1. You have a lot of gorgeous pieces here. I love the fur stole and the lace embellished skirt. Oh, those croc shoes are fabulous.

I've been keeping my eye out for a fur collar coat. I've come across a few but alas they are always too small.

  2. my number one vintage must have: jewelry.

It's hard to find my size (clothes and shoes) you can always find jewelry.
