The Best of Comrade Von Pussycat - 2013 Edition!

 Alright, to be fair, a lot of these photos did not show up on the blog, but are from my Instagram account! I hope you don't mind :)

The Best of 2013!

A few of my favorite things: My pussycat Wiggins, Limecrime Red Velvet Velvetine, Spanish summer florals and pompoms, NARS Belle de Jour, MAC Lady Danger!

A dose of glamour: MAC Ruby Woo, my film noir inspired jewelry box, 1930's astrakhan coat with "Elizabeth" emblazoned in bright pink, a very silent movie star inspired portrait, Wiggie and Red Velvet, a dazzling sangria colored 1940's dressing gown.

Summertime: Wiggie and Chekhov, a summer updo inspired by Russia, California sunset, California roses from the backyard, hotpants that would make my Grandma proud, charm necklace.

Russian Doll: Wearing MAC Ruby Woo (again!),  Infamous opening paragraph (Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov - I always read in in the summer for some reason), my giant Russian doll and a Bible in Cyrillic, popsicle toast, MAC Lady Danger, Mae West quotes are the best!

Cultivating Your Curves...

In case you are new to "Comrade Von Pussycat", I have been on a quest to put on more weight for the past few months and now I have finally reached my goal! Drumroll please! My final measurements are as follows:

37" bust (DD)

25" waist (ungirdled)

38" hips

Measurements (nearly) fit for "La Loren" herself! It must be all those chocolate filled croissants in the morning...

I am proud to say that I finally have achieved the "bombshell" look that I have been longing after for years."Now that's a throwdown!", as one fine old gentlemen of the street put it as I shimmied past him on my way to work the other day in my 1940's charcoal gabardine wiggle dress and 1930's ebony suede t-straps.

I definitely would like to invest in a proper waist cincher or underbust corset to accentuate my new, curvier figure, but as they are quite expensive, I will have to wait a while. In the meantime, stay vintage my friends!

Frank and Ava: A Bittersweet Love Affair

 

What is with me? I feel so lethargic...indifferent....uninspired. Strange. Maybe I'm just tired.

I want to write, really. I just can' think of anything brilliant to say.

I was thinking of him the other day...after my encounter with his lookalike last week.

I the rising, glowing moon; he the fading star. Even the moon is scarred. Something along those lines. It could turn out beautifully, if I only had the passion. Celestial references are so cliche though. I need to come up with something a little more obscure. Why does conflict breed inspiration? Life is strange. I'm a stranger to Life.
