I've caught coat madness!

Isn't this such a beautiful vintage advertisement? I have been waiting to get my mitts on the perfect vintage princess coat in my size (no easy feat!), but in the meantime I have snagged a few other coats to satiate my
Winter wardrobe cravings...the first is a beautiful black wool boucle swing coat with a huge cream and silver fox fur collar from the 1950's, and the other  a is jet black astrakhan coat from the 1930's...I would never buy fur new, but rehoming a vintage fur is another matter. I will post pictures soon, I promise! Is anyone else building up their vintage Winter wardrobe?

  1. I just won a vintage fake fur coat that had all the buttons. But it's still in the 90's here, it'll be awhile before I can wear it

  2. I can't wait to see your coats. I have an addiction to vintage coats. I actually have to sell a few off to make room for new ones:)

  3. Are you still looking for a vintage winter coat? If so, could you tell me your size? I have one that I may be willing to part with. It isn't in the best of conditions, but it definately has STYLE. It's black wool. Interested?

    1. Hello Rosemary!
Thank you for the offer, do you happen to have any photographs of the coat? I usually wear smaller sizes, and I do have quite a few black wool coats already, but I am always on the hunt for more princess style coats with nipped waists and full skirts!
