Happy Thanksgiving!

I know it is a little late, but I just came out of a turkey and stuffing coma! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, for those celebrating! There is nothing quite like Thanksgiving, all the family around one table eating, discussing, and making merry. I love the holidays! Here are a few holiday snaps of my humble Thanksgiving dinner in Macedonia (I was deeply homesick, but I still managed to have a wonderful holiday with my Love, the Bear, my in-laws, and my fellow American woman who is also married to a Macedonian!).
Sir Hump-a-Lot's 1st turkey dinner! Here we are taking a break from all of the kitchen prep!
Later on that evening, Samson decided  that he would be the guardian of the libations...what a handsome pussycat, I must say!
The guest of honor, Mr. Turkey! It was only my second turkey, so I was watching a lot of videos online to watch the pro's before I attempted roasting the thing. I ended up making a butter and dark brown sugar glaze, which made it finger lickin- good! No really, everyone was licking their fingers! I am pretty proud of myself for achieving such a result!
The Bear's first time carving a turkey, which he mastered at once! Thank you youtube ;)
 Speaks for itself, methinks!
I also whipped up a batch of red wine cranberry sauce with orange peel and Muscovado sugar. They don't have fresh cranberries here, but it turned out nicely with dried.
 Proud Papas!
 Turkey time?!!!!
Another glamour shot
Feasting time!
I also made a leek, toasted walnut, and giblet stuffing which was absolutely divine!
Pretty little pumpkin tartlets!
Happy Thanksgiving my friends!
